Vered Blass, Ph.D.
Dr. Vered Blass has served as an industrial consultant since 1999 in both the United States and Israel, working on various projects including the characterization of information systems, sourcing, and optimization. Over the last eight years, she has developed corporate environmental management strategies, measuring the environmental performance of products and services as well as product end-of-life management strategies. Her academic research focuses on the interface between industrial ecology and management science. Vered holds Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in environmental science and management from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering and management from The Technion — Israel Institute of Technology. She is a lecturer at the Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration in Tel Aviv University, and she is involved in collaborative research with scholars from multiple universities in the United States, Europe, and Brazil. She also serves as the research mentor of the environmental research group at the Koret-Milken Institute Fellows Program in Israel.
